What type of information do we collect?
We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. How do we collect information?
When you conduct a transaction on our website such as a membership application or a contact form, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address, and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated to either become a member or to communicate with us or to received email communications from us. In the future, we may also add product sales of logo merchandise as an additional transaction.
Why do we collect personal information?
Even though you may have already shared your personal information with Rotary or Rotaract, that data is not made available to the Rotary Fellowship of Gin, which operates as a separate entity.
We collect such non-personal and personal information for the following purposes:

How do we store, use, share, and disclose your personal information?
Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to provide our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com's data storage, databases, and the general Wix.com applicaitons. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
In addition, our member application form is built and managed using Google Forms. Google Forms provides us a second secure online platform that allows us to collect membership data electronically. Your data is securely transmitted via Google to the Board of Directors. Google protects your data on secure servers behind a firewall. Membership data is collected and stored securely by the Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors may transfer your data to other secure online platforms for digitial email communications or membership data management. Any third party platforms are selected based on security in addition to functionality..
How do we communicate with site visitors?
We may contact you to notify you regarding your membership, to troubleshoot problems with your membership application or dues, to resolve a problem, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about the Fellowship, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail. You will be given the ability to opt out of any email newsletters.
How do we use cookies and other tracking tools?
Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a site visitor's browser. They are typically used to keep track of the setting you have selected and actions you have taken on the site.
